$75,000.00/yr - $86,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Serenity Staffing The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive, hands-on support across key HR functions. You will collaborate with leadership to foster a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace culture while supporting team growth at the site location. Responsibilities/Job Duties
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records for events such as hiring, terminations, leaves, disciplinary actions, transfers, and promotions using human resources management system (HRMS) software. Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and State Laws, including but not limited to EEO, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, HIPAA, OSHA, and ERISA. Complies with the requirements of the ISO Quality Management System, ITAR and departmental procedures, and work-instructions. Support recruiting team as necessary including creating recruiting requisitions, conducting prescreening interviews, scheduling and logistics of interviews & hiring. Attend onsite interviews as needed to support hiring efforts. Conducts employee on boarding/offboarding and benefit orientations as needed. Consult with and coach supervisors/managers as they handle performance issues and talent development needs. Collect, conduct analysis, and report data for specific metrics. Address employee inquiries regarding policies, payroll, benefits, handbooks, employment verifications, and other HR-related matters promptly and professionally. Address employee concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism. Conduct thorough investigations and work toward resolving conflicts effectively, fostering a fair and respectful work environment. Review and track investigations of injuries, illnesses, environmental releases, non-injury accidents and near-misses to ensure that they are effective, and that they identify and resolve root causes. Electronically maintains Safety Data Sheets to ensure compliance with OSHA. Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and morale. Audit timecard accuracy and maintain attendance tracking records. Proactively research errors and assist with procedures to prevent reoccurrence. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Associate degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree. HRCI/SHRM Certification preferred. 3+ years progressive Human Resource professional experience with at least 2 years of recent experience with ADP Workforce Now and ERP systems. Valid state drivers license for travel between facilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas). Ability to leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance employee experience. High level of accuracy in data entry. Proven ability to analyze situations, think creatively, and make sound, data-driven decisions. High level of integrity, dependability, and results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
