Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per-Diem
Compensation: $49.00 – $52.00 per hour

We're currently seeking a compassionate Pediatric RN to provide one-on-one school-based nursing care for an amazing young girl. She is non-verbal but finds meaningful ways to express gratitude and love.

Schedule Options:
Weekdays: 7:30am – 3:00pm
Clinical Experience Required:
G-Tube feeding
Glucose monitoring & insulin coverage
Catheterizations
Nebulizer treatments
Epi-Pen administration
Seizure precautions / epilepsy supervision
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to the student during school hours.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Monitor, document, and report student's health status throughout the day.
Respond to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions.
Manage and maintain medical devices (feeding tubes, catheters, etc.).
Collaborate with school staff, family, and healthcare providers.
Follow the care plan developed by the RN Case Manager and physician.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Nursing degree from an accredited program
Current CPR certification
UAS certification (can be obtained during training)
Prior RN experience in LHCSA/CHHA setting
Pediatric care experience preferred
Reliable transportation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with HHAeXchange preferred (not required)
Skills & Abilities:
Strong pediatric care skills
Excellent communication with children, families, and staff
Ability to remain calm in emergencies
Organized and detail-oriented documentation habits
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
