A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary-aged students in an educational setting. Key Details: Schedule Options: Full day (9:00 a.m. 3:50 p.m.) or half day (9:00 a.m. 12:04 p.m.) Duration: Contract role through the end of the student school year Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 6th grade Location: Warren, MI Setting: Elementary School Position Type: Full-time, contract Qualifications and Experience: Valid and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-6th grade) preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies Ability to administer assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students Implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance student communication skills Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning This role is an excellent opportunity to apply clinical expertise in a school environment, supporting young learners communication development across the academic year.
