A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year to support a K-12 educational setting in Warren, MI. This contract position will run from August 26th through June 13th and focuses primarily on serving elementary-aged students. The caseload includes approximately 35 students, predominantly within grades K-8, with some students in higher grade levels.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for K-8 students and some secondary students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and reports. Participate in meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) team meetings. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working as an SLP in healthcare, pediatric, clinical fellowship year (CFY), or school settings. Knowledge of pediatric speech and language development and disorders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff. Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize workload efficiently.
