A middle school is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to support social-emotional learning as a Social Emotional Resource teacher focusing on high incidence Emotional Disturbance (ED). Monitor and report student progress related to social-emotional and academic goals. Utilize evidence-based strategies to address behavioral and emotional challenges. Qualifications: Active Kansas Special Education Teaching License required. Licensing or certification specific to high incidence disabilities preferred. Experience working with middle school students in a special education or resource setting. Strong understanding of social-emotional learning principles and behavioral intervention strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
