A full-time teaching position is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) in a K-12 school setting, located in Westminster, MD. This role is a contract assignment for the duration of the school year, requiring 35 hours per week.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students specific needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers to ensure consistent communication and student progress. Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive materials to enhance learning experiences. Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student performance and progress. Qualifications: Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI). Experience working with K-12 visually impaired students. Strong knowledge of visual impairment strategies, educational tools, and relevant technologies. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Location: Westminster, MD. This position offers a competitive hourly rate consistent with previous placements for TVIs in the area. Candidates will be compensated for 35 hours per week, aligned with a full-time schedule.
