We are seeking a passionate and qualified

Remote Special Education Teacher

to provide virtual instructional and case management services to K-12 students in New Hampshire public or charter schools. The ideal candidate will have experience in special education settings, be well-versed in IEP development, and be confident working in a digital environment to support diverse learning needs. Responsibilities:

Provide direct virtual instruction to students with IEPs using evidence-based strategies

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

Conduct assessments, collect data, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress

Facilitate and attend virtual IEP meetings

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with various disabilities

Ensure compliance with IDEA, New Hampshire state regulations, and local district policies

Utilize virtual platforms to deliver engaging and accessible instruction and support

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field

Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher Certification

(Required)

Minimum of 1 year teaching experience, preferably in a school-based or virtual setting

Proficient with digital tools and online learning platforms

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Reliable internet connection and a secure, distraction-free workspace

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with students across multiple disability categories (SLD, ASD, OHI, etc.)

Familiarity with IEP writing and case management platforms (e.g., NHSEIS, PowerSchool, etc.)

Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) or behavior intervention strategies

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
