We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
Remote School Psychologist
to provide virtual psychological services to K12 students across New Hampshire. This position focuses on conducting assessments, supporting special education evaluations, participating in IEP/504 planning, and collaborating with school teamsall within a flexible, remote environment. The ideal candidate has strong assessment skills, a thorough understanding of IDEA and New Hampshire education law, and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive virtual psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations
Interpret assessment data and write detailed, legally defensible evaluation reports
Collaborate with IEP teams to support eligibility determination and service planning
Participate in virtual IEP, 504, and Student Support Team (SST/MTSS) meetings
Provide virtual consultation to educators, administrators, and families on academic, social-emotional, and behavioral supports
Support implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with New Hampshire DOE and district policies
Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and local policies regarding special education evaluations and procedures
Deliver virtual counseling services or social-emotional learning supports, if needed
Qualifications:
Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved or regionally accredited program
Valid New Hampshire Department of Education School Psychologist Certification
(Required)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a K12 school setting preferred
Proficiency in virtual assessment tools and platforms (e.g., Q-interactive, Pearson Q-global, etc.)
Knowledge of federal and New Hampshire-specific education and special education law
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload
Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, private remote workspace
Preferred Skills:
Experience in virtual school psychology or tele-assessment settings
Familiarity with NHSEIS (New Hampshire Special Education Information System)
Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disabilities, ADHD, and/or learning disabilities
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
