A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in a K-12 school setting in Cypress, TX. This contract opportunity runs from August 11th through May 21st for the school year and offers caseload preferences to support a well-balanced workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing speech and language services to students across grades K-12
Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision
Collect data to track student progress and support ongoing evaluations
Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with educators, parents, and therapists
Support student engagement and learning in both individual and small group sessions
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification or license
Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and document services accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
Flexibility to adapt to a variable caseload with consideration of preferences
