Special Education Teacher
to join the
RISE program
for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, on-site position serving students with
Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) . The ideal candidate will be experienced, student-centered, and licensed in Minnesota with a
DCD endorsement .

The RISE program provides a highly supportive, structured setting designed to meet the academic, functional, and emotional needs of students with developmental cognitive disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students IEP goals
Support students in developing academic, life, communication, and social skills
Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Collect data and report on student progress toward IEP objectives
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and team planning sessions
Qualifications:
Required:
Valid
Minnesota Teaching Credential
Special Education License
with a focus in
Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)
Preferred: Prior experience in a center-based or self-contained special education program Strong classroom management and collaboration skills Passion for supporting students with significant learning needs Why Join This Program?
