About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our Technology Delivery Team. In this role, youll leverage your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and microservices to design, build, and deploy high-performance solutions that support mission-critical platforms. Youll lead back-end development, drive architectural decisions, and mentor a team of developers, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals. What Youll Do

Lead development, deployment, and management of API solutions using AWS, Spring Boot, and Java Architect and implement solutions leveraging NoSQL databases (e.g., DocumentDB, NeptuneDB) Establish and enforce best practices in API design, governance, performance, and security Drive adoption of modern design patterns and microservices architecture Conduct code reviews, set team standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues Mentor and guide team members, fostering continuous learning and technical growth Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to technical excellence across the team What Were Looking For

5+ years of experience as a Java Lead Deep expertise in Java development with Spring Boot and microservices Hands-on experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and cloud-native application development Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire technical teams Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the financial services or insurance industry Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes Advanced knowledge of GraphDB, especially Neptune on AWS Strong background in software security best practices Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Seniority level
