Overview

Location: Mission Viejo, CA Compensation: $121,312 to $141,731 per year + Significant Signing Bonus + Paid Relocation Assistance + Comprehensive Benefits Package Night shift. Start 9pm-5am. 7 on 7 off. Role

CT Technologist / Nights at Mission Viejo, CA. Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures while providing exceptional patient care. This is a dynamic and growing medical imaging team in a technologically advanced environment. Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities according to physician orders and established protocols. Ensure accurate patient positioning and use appropriate imaging parameters to obtain optimal diagnostic images. Minimize radiation exposure by adhering to ALARA principles. Provide compassionate patient care to all ages (infants to geriatrics); assess conditions and medical histories to ensure safe imaging procedures. Explain procedures clearly and address patient concerns; start IVs for contrast injections when required. Perform post-processing techniques (MPR, 3D rendering, volume rendering) and analyze CT images to identify structures and findings. Demonstrate strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology to inform radiologists and physicians. Operate and maintain CT equipment, conduct quality control checks, and troubleshoot malfunctions; maintain a clean, organized work environment. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals; communicate findings accurately and efficiently; participate in team meetings and departmental initiatives. Comply with applicable regulations, hospital policies, and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Qualifications

Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Licensure: Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license upon hire. Certification: ARRT RT(R) certification upon hire; ARRT RT(CT) certification within one year of hire. BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting. Experience with various CT equipment vendors. Experience with PACS systems.
