Job Description
Antares Denver is seeking dedicated and passionate English language instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant teaching experience and a strong commitment to enhancing the language skills of our diverse student body. This position requires in-person instruction at our campus.
Successful instructors
- Are well-prepared for all classes, implementing the Antares curriculum
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their learning.
- Keep accurate records, i.e., student attendance, grades, and lesson plans
- Are aware of and adhere to all school policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction.
- Attend instructor meetings, and participate in Living Language Labs and other Center activities
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with TESL certification
- If you have a bachelor's degree in any field and no TESL certificate, but are willing to seek one immediately, we will consider your application for a teacher-in-training.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, TEFL, ESL, or related field from an accredited institution;
- Strongly preferred: Master’s degree in TESOL, TEFL, Linguistics, Language Education or a closely related field.
Experience
- Preferred: Two years of ESL or FL teaching adults

Pay: Fully qualified teachers typically begin at $21/hr with a 1.2 multiplier for teaching hours to account for prep and grading, so roughly $25.20/hr.
Hours: Monday-Thursday evening, roughly 4:15 to 9:00 p.m. (18 hours per week in classroom, plus 1 hour every two weeks for teachers' meeting, plus prep and grading per individual)
