Overview
The Employee Programs Coordinator ensures timely processing of workers' compensation claims; evaluates accident reports to determine accuracy and completeness and to ensure adequate investigation; ensures that the organization is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; provides training and guidance to claims coordinators in all departments.
Responsibilities
Process Workers' Compensation Claims and following through with employee medical treatment, work status and until reaching Maximum Medical Improvement.
Audit Loss Run Reports from TPA for monthly meetings.
Process Worker's Compensation "Request to Produce" for Litigation.
Maintain OSHA Log & Reports for Safety EOC Meeting, CHAMPS, and Administration.
Process and maintain OSHA/BLS Information for annual survey.
Process investigations & Penalties from the Division of Worker's Comp.
Process FSIGA & Excess W/C Self-Insured Payroll Audit requests.
Process monthly/quarterly check requests.
Process Employee Family Medical Leave Act request & Voluntary Leave request.
Process Short Term/Long Term Disability.
Process PTO Donation requests.
Process annual Employee Contribution Fund payments.
Maintain Federal Labor Law Posters.
Qualifications
HS Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
3 years experience in Worker's Compensation and FMLA.
