The posted compensation range of $15.71 - $22.19/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. Responsibilities: Check-in with the outgoing patient care assistant at the beginning of your shift to get a report on your patients. Conduct hourly rounds on approximately eight patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed. Assist patients with ambulating as necessary. Assist patients with hygiene needs. Help the bedside nurse with tube insertions such as an NG tube, rectal tube, or catheter. Help the bedside nurse with any wound checks or dressing changes. Change bed linens, check patients' weight, other tasks as assigned each day. Qualifications: High school diploma/GED 1 year previous patient care experience AHA BLS Preferred: Acute care experience Overview: St. Luke's HealthSugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston.
