Warehouse Associate

This position entails operating forklifts around packaging lines and within the warehouse, ensuring the efficient supply of bulk products and supplies to production lines, as well as moving finished products.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts around packaging lines and in the warehouse.
  • Meet the needs of up to three production lines concurrently.
  • Assess the status of orders to check order ratios and identify inaccuracies.
  • Move supplies and bulk products to packaging lines, proactively anticipating station needs.
  • Utilize the RF Scanner to allocate components, report on components, and return excess to the warehouse.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in packaging rooms and complete end-of-shift checklists to ensure standards are met.
  • Remove finished pallets from packaging lines and load them onto transfer trailers.
  • Identify and correct issues and inaccuracies, escalating errors quickly to leads and assisting with remediation.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, operating all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
  • Adhere to food safety policies and procedures, including FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Report food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of experience in a warehouse or production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver's license.
  • Forklift certification preferred.

Work Environment

The primary work environment for this position is within the production and warehouse areas of the facility, where temperatures may vary. Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.
