A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to provide services in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position begins on August 26th and concludes on June 13th. The primary caseload will consist of approximately 35 students, mainly within the elementary grades (K-8) with some students above elementary level.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing individualized therapy to support students with speech and language disorders. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals will be essential to develop and implement effective treatment plans aligned with student needs. Desired qualifications and experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working in pediatric, healthcare, or school settings Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent school-based experience Strong skills in evaluating and treating speech and language disorders in children Ability to manage an elementary caseload efficiently, with some flexibility for older students Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for K-8 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse speech and language needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as required This contract offers the opportunity to deliver impactful speech-language services in a supportive educational environment throughout the school year.
