A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in an educational setting near Dallas, TX for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract position focuses on supporting students in overcoming communication challenges and empowering them to succeed academically and socially.

In this role, you will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your contributions will be vital in developing students communication abilities, fostering positive social interactions, and enhancing their overall educational experience. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations Desired Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy and pediatrics Ability to provide teletherapy services as needed Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Current Texas state license or eligibility to obtain licensure Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent This position offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that values a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
