Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students across grades K-12 Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans Address issues such as absenteeism, bullying, family challenges, and mental health concerns Facilitate group sessions and support social-skills development Participate in meetings related to student support and individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality in compliance with policies Desired Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Social Work with appropriate licensure or certification Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff Knowledge of community resources and referral processes Location: Arlington Heights, IL Contract Details: School year (CSY) contract with specified date ranges Temporary assignment supporting social work services for students This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students well-being and academic success in a supportive educational setting.
