Contract Duration: November 10, 2025 to February 20, 2026 January 27, 2026 to March 10, 2026 Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to identify student needs and barriers to learning Provide individual and group counseling to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans Connect students and families with community resources and support services Assist in crisis intervention and manage behavioral issues according to school policies Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with regulations Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (Bachelors or Masters preferred) Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker Experience working within K-12 school environments Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and families Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and educational policies related to social work Location: Gurnee, Illinois This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student well-being and academic growth within a supportive school community.
