$36.38 - $47.84 per hour About the Role:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to work onsite in a self-contained classroom setting serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD). This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about supporting students with specialized needs. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with ASD or EBD
Provide direct instruction to a caseload of 6-8 students from Kindergarten through 12th grade
Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and related service providers to support student progress
Track and report student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and behavior management techniques
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
Valid Minnesota teaching license in ASD or EBD
Experience working with students with ASD or EBD in a K-12 setting preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to work onsite full-time at one school building
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
