Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in a school setting is advantageous Proficiency in using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Location: Houston, Texas Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose disorders related to speech, language, communication, and swallowing Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs Collaborate with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPAs, and OTs Monitor patient progress and provide timely and detailed reports Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation Additional Skills and Experience: Expertise in pediatric and healthcare settings Experience with teletherapy and school-based services Ability to supervise and collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in both school and healthcare environments Comfort working within varied caseloads and adapting to dynamic clinical needs This contract is ideal for clinicians seeking to expand their expertise in diverse settings while providing critical speech-language services.
