As a
Med Surg RN
in Cincinnati, you will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and quality care to patients recovering from various surgeries and dealing with a wide range of medical conditions. This role provides an excellent opportunity for RNs to use and expand their clinical skills in a structured hospital setting. Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and communicate any significant changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications, monitor IVs, and document care in alignment with standards and protocols. Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes. Collaborate with physicians and other team members to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to infection-control standards. Required Skills & Experience:
Active RN license
in Ohio or a compact license. Certifications:
BLS required; ACLS preferred. Experience:
Minimum of
2 years of experience
in a Med Surg or similar acute care setting is highly preferred. Schedule Notes:
Shift:
Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday Duration:
13 Weeks Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend Holiday Requirement:
