Mammography Technologist
for a critical role in Cincinnati, OH. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated professional who aims to provide top-tier care in a specialized Breast Center. Job Overview:
The
Mammography Technologist
will perform mammography examinations in accordance with ACR standards. This role includes assisting with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiologic-guided procedures within the Breast Center. Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms on patients of all ages with a commitment to accuracy and patient care. Conduct mammographic imaging for needle localization and stereotactic procedures, including setup and cleanup. Assist in ultrasound-guided procedures. Select immobilization devices and technical factors based on patient needs, ensuring correct documentation and film markings. Develop exposed x-ray film using appropriate processing methods and complete patient requisitions. Participate in quality control procedures, including phantom imaging, darkroom fog tests, screen cleanliness, and documentation as delegated. Educate patients on breast self-examination (BSE) and provide pre- and post-procedure instructions. Track and report patient follow-ups, breast localizations, and biopsy needs. Ensure compliance with ACR, MQSA, Ohio State, and FDA standards in quality control and patient care. Adapt care and communication to meet the specific needs of each patient. Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of
2 years experience
as a
Licensed Mammography Technologist . Schedule Notes:

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday Duration:
13 Weeks Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend Holiday Requirement:
