A Special Education Teacher is needed for a full contract school year position serving K-12 students in Clinton Township, MI. This role supports diverse learners by providing individualized instruction and accommodations to meet each students unique needs in a classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement tailored instructional plans for students with special needs. Collaborate with paraeducators (3 assigned paras) to support student learning and classroom management. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration to facilitate student success. Ensure compliance with all special education laws, regulations, and individualized education program (IEP) requirements. Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
