A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students within a districtwide setting in Live Oak, CA. This contract role spans the entire school year, from August 12 through June 6, providing 7 hours of work per day.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and have experience in healthcare, pediatrics, clinical fellowship year (CFY), and school settings. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), who will be provided by the district to support the caseload. Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language needs Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Providing direct therapy services to meet the diverse needs of K-12 students Maintaining comprehensive documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies Qualifications: Valid California SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working in pediatric and school-based environments Completion or near completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with students of varied ages and abilities Working full-time over the school year with a structured schedule of seven hours per day, this contract offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students speech and language development.
