This role includes collaboration with an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support student needs effectively. Responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student goals Providing therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines Preferred qualifications: Valid SLP certification and licensure for school-based practice in California Experience working in pediatric and school settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Benefits of this role include working in a supportive districtwide environment, gaining valuable experience with pediatric populations, and involvement in a comprehensive school system.
