An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in a K-12 public school setting in Mooresville, NC. This contract position spans the 2023-2024 school year (NSY) and offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric student population across the full K-12 spectrum.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing individual communication needs Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on speech, language, and related communicative skills Continuously monitor, document, and report progress to ensure effective interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and other specialists, to support student success Involve and engage families to enhance therapy outcomes and reinforce strategies at home Qualifications & Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not mandatory Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment This position requires an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in North Carolina. Candidates must hold or be in the process of obtaining a Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
