This position serves a dynamic group of 3rd to 5th grade students with a variety of learning needs. You'll work alongside a collaborative team that values creativity, consistency, and student-first thinking. Your Role:
Teach and support students with IEPs through targeted instruction and accommodations
Create individualized learning plans that reflect student goals and progress
Work closely with gen ed teachers, specialists, and families to foster student success
Manage and document IEP compliance, assessments, and daily progress
Be a positive and proactive presence in both the classroom and the broader school community
What You Bring:
Valid Washington State Special Education Certification
A heart for helping students grow both academically and emotionally
Experience in elementary education preferred (especially upper elementary)
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Familiarity with IEP development, data tracking, and instructional modifications
