Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions are available for maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Illinois. These contract roles provide an exciting opportunity to support students across multiple grade levels with specialized speech-language services in a dynamic educational setting.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PM Assignment Duration: August 20, 2025 September 30, 2025 Assignment Type: Leave Coverage Contract Position Details: Caseload 1: Kindergarten through 1st Grade Caseload 2: 3rd through 8th Grade Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments and regularly monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in a school-based SLP role is advantageous Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills Benefits: Supportive and collaborative school atmosphere Opportunity to impact a diverse student population Work as part of a dedicated team of educators and specialists This role is ideal for an SLP passionate about pediatric speech-language services and eager to engage in school-based therapy during a defined leave period.
