Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate order verification and oversee safe medication dispensing.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during night operations.
Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient therapy.
Apply pharmacokinetics in dosage adjustments and medication management.
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Ideal Candidate
Holds a strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.
Works well independently while thriving in collaboration with medical teams.
Adaptable to night shift demands and 7-on / 7-off scheduling.
Job Requirements
Active
North Carolina Pharmacist License
(in good standing).
Prior
inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
required.
Proficiency with
Epic
and
Pyxis
preferred.
