We are seeking an experienced
Oncology Pharmacist
for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This position plays a key role within an oncology-focused pharmacy team, supporting clinical operations and patient care at a leading Cancer and Infusion Center.

Start Date : ASAP Schedule : Monday Friday, day shifts (~7:00 AM 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM 4:30 PM) Duration : 13 weeks (with potential to transition to permanent hire) Responsibilities include : Assess patient therapy for appropriateness with age-specific modifications
Conduct clinical interventions to prevent adverse drug events
Participate in clinical research and staff development programs
Provide operational support and education on new treatment regimens
Supervise the preparation of IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and other sterile products
Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff
Maintain inventory of oncology medications
Collaborate with nursing and oncology teams to standardize chemo ordering procedures
Assist in developing and updating department/nursing policies
Ideal Candidate : 5+ years of acute care clinical pharmacy experience
Strong oncology background with ability to mix compounds (REQUIRED)
Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology (strongly preferred)
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) (strongly preferred)
Able to work independently and supervise support staff
Experience with specialty pharmacy medication management
Reliable transportation is required
