Occupational Therapist School Setting in Parsippany, NJ

A contracted occupational therapist position is available at an elementary school located in Parsippany, NJ for the current school year (CSY). This role focuses on supporting students' developmental and therapeutic needs within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and overall functional skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and progress. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute professional expertise to create supportive learning environments. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials to practice in New Jersey. Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children.
