August 6 through May 22 (aligning with the school year calendar, including school breaks) Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments for referred students for initial evaluations and re-evaluations Review student records to determine eligibility according to Tennessee state guidelines Prepare and finalize evaluation and eligibility reports using TNPulse Participate in manifestation determination meetings to support students with special needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams across seven schools in the district Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification as a School Psychologist Experience with K-12 student assessments and eligibility procedures preferred Strong knowledge of Tennessee state eligibility criteria and special education law Proficiency with psychological testing and report writing Ability to work effectively in an in-person setting and manage caseload across multiple schools This role offers an important opportunity to positively impact student outcomes through comprehensive psychological services within a dynamic educational environment.
