An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services to support K-12 students across multiple sites. This contract position begins in November and continues through the end of the school year, providing essential therapy services to enhance student participation and success.

Location: Escondido, California Work across various school sites within the district Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to K-12 students Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Provide documentation and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administration Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to enhance academic and daily living skills Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations Strong understanding of educational and therapeutic strategies tailored for school environments Ability to manage a caseload and work across multiple sites efficiently Excellent communication and teamwork skills Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day Contract duration: November through the end of the school year This role offers the chance to apply specialized skills in occupational therapy to support student development within a dynamic school environment.
