A unique opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to support K-12 students within a dynamic school environment in San Francisco, CA. This contract position offers the chance to apply your skills in pediatric physical therapy throughout the school year (CSY), contributing to the growth and development of children across diverse grade levels.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy services to students with various needs, focusing on promoting mobility, strength, and functional independence. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals. Conduct assessments and document progress to ensure compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success and well-being. Educate staff and parents on physical therapy strategies and adaptive techniques. Qualifications and Experience: Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in California. Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in an educational setting. Strong knowledge of K-12 physical therapy protocols and school-based therapy practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff. Ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards.
