Key responsibilities include: Delivering physical therapy services tailored to the developmental needs of elementary-age students Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans Conducting assessments, documenting progress, and recommending adaptive equipment as needed Participating in team meetings and contributing to a supportive learning environment that promotes student independence and participation Desired qualifications and experience: State licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience working in healthcare and school-based physical therapy settings Strong communication skills to effectively work with children, families, and school staff Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and educational regulations related to student services Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage caseloads efficiently Location: San Jose, California, within an elementary school setting Benefits of this contract include gaining specialized experience in pediatric physical therapy within an educational environment and the opportunity to positively influence student development over the academic year.
