Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
to join our dedicated team and provide behavior analytic services that promote student success in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains. Position Overview:
The BCBA will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, related service providers, and families to assess student needs and implement effective behavior support strategies. This role supports students across a range of grade levels and disabilities, with an emphasis on students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional and behavioral challenges, and other developmental differences. Responsibilities:
Conduct
Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
and develop individualized
Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) .
Implement and oversee evidence-based
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
interventions across educational settings.
Provide
ongoing training and coaching
to school staff and paraprofessionals.
Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide decision-making and adjust interventions.
Participate in
Individualized Education Program (IEP)
meetings and collaborate on goal development.
Consult with general and special education teachers on classroom management and behavioral supports.
Support
parent collaboration and training
to extend learning and behavior strategies to the home environment.
Maintain compliance with
BACB ethical standards , district policies, and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
Current
Board Certification (BCBA)
by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 2 years experience in a school or clinical setting working with children with behavioral needs.
Knowledge of
evidence-based interventions , data collection tools, and behavioral assessment procedures.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive weekly pay: $40 $60 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
