We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
Occupational Therapist (OT)
to join our school-based team in
Pollock Pines, California , working with students from
Kindergarten through 12th grade . This part-time role (3 days per week) offers a rewarding opportunity to support student development, promote independence, and improve access to education in a collaborative educational setting. Responsibilities
Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with motor, sensory, and functional challenges.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in alignment with student needs.
Deliver direct therapy services (individual and/or small group), both push-in and pull-out.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom participation and academic success.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
Document student progress and maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines.
Travel between school sites (if applicable) within the district.
Provide training and consultation to school personnel on adaptive equipment, classroom strategies, and sensory supports.
Qualifications
Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
Valid
California Occupational Therapist License
(required).
Previous school-based experience (preferred).
Familiarity with IDEA, IEPs, and best practices in educational therapy.
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Reliable transportation (required for multi-site travel if needed).
