A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support elementary education in the Stratford, CT area and surrounding communities. This contract position, beginning ASAP and lasting through June 11, 2026, offers a focused role and additional evaluation assignments throughout the district.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required. Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial and triennial psychological evaluations for elementary-age students. Collaborate with school teams to interpret and communicate evaluation results. Support compliance with district and state requirements regarding assessments. Manage caseload efficiently, focusing exclusively on evaluations. Utilize district-provided Chromebook for documentation and communication purposes. Qualifications & Experience: Current Connecticut School Psychologist license (CT 070) is required. Experience with initial and triennial evaluations in an elementary school setting is preferred. Strong understanding of child development and psychological assessment tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with educators, families, and students. Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in documentation. Schedule & Location: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, approximately 35 hours per week. On-site work is required; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not being considered.
