A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed on a contract basis through the end of the school year, with potential for extension. This role supports student services impacted by a backlog, providing compensatory speech services to help students meet their communication goals. Location: Ventura, CA

Setting: School Contract length: Full time until the end of the school year, with potential to extend Key qualifications and experience: SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings a plus Teletherapy experience beneficial but not required Eligible candidates include SLPs in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or licensed SLPAs with school or healthcare experience Ability to deliver compensatory speech services efficiently in a school environment Willingness to collaborate as an essential part of the student services team Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students requiring compensatory support Communicate effectively with educators, families, and other related service providers Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements Collaborate with assigned SLPA (which can be provided if you have one) to support service delivery Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs, including in-person and teletherapy as appropriate Benefits and perks: Full-time hours through the academic year with steady work schedule Opportunity to support students in catching up on essential speech services Collaborative work environment with access to additional support staff Qualified candidates with the required certifications and experience are encouraged to apply promptly to assist in meeting urgent student service needs.
