A school-based occupational therapist position is available within a K-12 educational setting, serving multiple sites across the district. This role focuses on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade.

Number of Sites: 2-5 Caseload: Approximately 20-25 students, PreK-8 Hours: 7.5 hours per day Start Date: Immediate Job Type: Contract, Non-School Year (NSY) Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services in school-based settings to support student development and academic participation Manage a caseload covering a wide age range, from early childhood to middle school students Provide both direct therapy and indirect services, including necessary documentation and collaboration with educators and families Utilize teletherapy tools as needed alongside in-person therapy sessions Maintain professional compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines for therapeutic services Qualifications and Desired Experience: Proven experience in school-based occupational therapy Skilled in home health and healthcare OT, with ability to adapt services to teletherapy environments Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Appropriate licensure and credentials in occupational therapy Familiarity with K-12 educational settings and requirements Benefits: Weekly pay with guaranteed hours Compensation for both direct therapy and indirect paperwork time at a flat hourly rate Liability, health, vision, and dental insurance coverage 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions Support for credentialing and continuing education units (CEUs) This contract opportunity offers a stable schedule and comprehensive benefits within a dynamic school environment.
