School Occupational Therapist - Wauconda, Illinois

A full-time occupational therapist is needed for an onsite contract position serving K-12 students in Wauconda, IL. This role supports occupational therapy services for students across all grade levels during the next school year (NSY). Key Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school settings Comfort working directly with K-12 students in a classroom or clinic environment Ability to deliver customized therapy interventions to enhance student functional skills Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluations and ongoing treatment plans to support student needs Deliver services onsite to address developmental, physical, and sensory challenges affecting participation and learning Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Document therapy sessions and progress according to district requirements Utilize clinical expertise to promote independence and engagement for each student Location: Wauconda, Illinois
