Interim Director of Pharmacy 194-Bed Inpatient Hospital Kentucky
Soliant is actively seeking an
experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy (DOP)
to lead pharmacy operations at a
194-bed acute care hospital in Kentucky . This
contract leadership opportunity
is ideal for a pharmacist with proven
hospital pharmacy management experience
who is ready to provide stability and guidance during a transitional period. We are offering a
full travel package , including
non-taxable stipends for lodging, meals, incidentals, and premium furnished housing
for qualified travelers. Position Highlights:
Schedule:
MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Start Date:
October 2nd
Assignment Length:
3+ months (interim coverage while permanent DOP is recruited)
Training/Orientation:
25 days (based on experience and learning curve)
Dress Code:
Scrubs, white coat, or business casual
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee
all inpatient pharmacy operations
Provide
leadership, mentoring, and supervision
to pharmacists and technicians
Maintain compliance with
state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies
Perform staffing duties as needed, including
order entry, medication verification, and Omnicell narcotics audits
Lead and support staff during an
Epic EHR system conversion
Partner closely with hospital leadership and clinical teams to drive safe, efficient patient care
Requirements:
Active Kentucky Pharmacist License
(required)
Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
(required)
Leadership/management experience
in a hospital setting (required)
Epic experience
(highly preferred, required for consideration)
Familiarity with
Omnicell automation systems
(required)
Pharmacy Staffing & Resources:
Team of
12 FTEs
(pharmacists + technicians)
Technicians manage
Omnicell operations and medication distribution
Travel & Benefits:
Full travel package provided
