A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatric and educational settings is sought for a K-12 school district located in Nixa, MO. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students across two school buildings, serving a diverse caseload of approximately 35-40 students ranging from early childhood special education (ECSE) through 4th grade, as well as high school age groups.

Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, including teletherapy as needed Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention plans Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Missouri state certification as an SLP Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings Ability to manage a mixed caseload effectively Strong communication and teamwork skills Work Schedule and Reporting: 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week during the school year (NSY) Reporting to the Building Principal(s) and the Director of Special Services This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students communication skills in a supportive educational environment.
