Soliant
A dedicated Special Education Teacher is sought to support elementary students in grades K-5 within a resource classroom setting. This in-person role is located in Rawlins, WY, and spans the entire 2025-2026 school year on a contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities.
Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to promote academic and social growth.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification.
Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5) in special education settings.
Knowledge of resource classroom environments and individualized instruction techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to fostering a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
