A K-12 school in Vinton, VA is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the school year on a contract basis.

Responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support student learning and development Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to assist with eligibility determinations and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and school staff Effective communication and organizational skills Location: Vinton, Virginia This position offers an opportunity to engage with students across all grade levels in a supportive educational environment.
