This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide vital support in a K-12 school setting in Pittsford, NY. The position is a contract role for the 2023-2024 school year, focused on delivering high-quality speech and language services to students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders to determine individualized needs. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving specific speech and language goals. Provide direct therapy sessions, adapting techniques to each students progress and challenges. Monitor, document, and report detailed patient progress regularly to inform ongoing care. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated support. Involve and educate families throughout the therapy process to encourage engagement and continuity of care. Qualifications and Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP, with an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly valued. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
