A school-based speech-language pathologist position is available in Newark, DE, serving an elementary school setting. This contract role offers full-time hours for the current school year, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload of approximately 40-45 students Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication needs Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress in accordance with school policies and state regulations Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY), or valid School SLP certification Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred Knowledge of speech and language disorders and strong clinical skills Ability to manage a caseload and coordinate services efficiently Strong communication and teamwork abilities This opportunity is contracted for two speech-language pathologists to provide critical services in a single elementary building.
