A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Tuscola, IL, serving a K-12 school community. This contract position runs for the current school year (CSY) and involves providing comprehensive speech-language services to a manageable caseload of 2035 students. The role emphasizes collaboration with educators, staff, and families to support student communication development through assessment and therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
Deliver individualized therapy services based on assessment results.
Develop, implement, and monitor personalized student goals.
Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school and state guidelines.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Illinois SLP license.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
Prior experience in school-based speech therapy preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and strong communication abilities.
